Carl Javier is still finishing his MA in creative writing at UP. His work has appeared in Nine Supernatural Stories, Tales of Fantasy and Enchantment, Philippine Speculative Fiction Vol. 4, The Philippines Free Press, The Philippine Graphic, and other publications. He is a co-founder of the renegade publication outfit The Youth and Beauty Brigade, bassist for Los Chupacabraz and Angel Radio, a sometime film critic, and an Xbox 360 addict, though he swears that it’s just a habit. He has been an English teacher for the past few years, but has decided to change gears. He is now Director of Content Development for Fraktur Design Inc., a startup digital and print media design company.
