48th upnww fellows night
Author: admin Category: Staff Blogtuesday evening of the workshop saw the longest fellows night ever since upnww was reformatted in 2006. fellows kael co and carl javier opened the program with performances of original songs by their band, los chupacabraz. ichi batacan wowed the crowed after her rendition of a joni mitchell song. dean alfar entertained everyone with his jean valjean stint singing ‘bring him home’ while standing on a chair. former fellow and visitor adam david provided guitar accompaniment to vlad gonzales’s ‘imperialism’ song. a member of the baguio writers guild also sang an asin song with the ever amusing norman wilayco playing the guitar while facing the wall. novelist, likhaan fellow, and singer extraordinaire charlson ong sang ‘i dreamed a dream’ together with dean alfar (again!). fellows ayer arguelles and jing panganiban hosted the program, though they didn’t really know they would be hosting it.
